Book Reviews by Steph

Live, Laugh, Love, Read

Hi everyone! My goal for this year is to focus on me and things I like/want to read. Well I decided to start my February/March reads this month. So far it’s a re-read of  “Vengeance Road” by Erin Bowman, however I am running to a block that I may be unable to pass. I’m entering a reading slump and it seems it will be difficult to get out of. I don’t know if it’s because I remember about 50% of this book so it’s dragging me down or if it’s because I need a break from reading all together.

What do you all do when you hit reading slumps? Any good book recommendations to pull me from my funk?

Here’s the reading list for now: this month and February, possibly March if I don’t shake this.

I hope you all are having a lovely new year, what are your reading goals?

  1. Usually when I hit a slump, I reread a childhood favourite to remind me what it is that I love about books!

I’ll have to try that, thank you. So far I just look at my shelf and feel intimidated.
